We collect event information users submit, including title, description, venue, address, city, state, ZIP code, date, time, price, category, submitter notes, and review status.
Service activity
We store session records, password reset tokens, email verification tokens, flag reports, security alerts, moderation decisions, admin audit logs, and other records needed to operate and protect the service.
Location searches may use ZIP codes, city names, or browser-provided location permission to find nearby events. Browser location is used to select a nearby ZIP code and is not required to use the app.
How we use information
We use this information to create accounts, verify email addresses, show events, review submissions, prevent abuse, handle flags, send password resets, and support account safety.
Sharing
Approved public event details may be visible to visitors and may be shared by users. Account email addresses, internal admin notes, audit records, and private moderation details are not intended for public display.
We may disclose information if required to comply with law, protect users, investigate abuse, or maintain the service.
Account deletion
You can request account deletion by contacting eventnearme.app@gmail.com. Some records may be retained if needed for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or audit history.
